Servings 1
Prep Time 5 mins

  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1/2 a rosemary sprig
  • 1/2 inch thick lemon slice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest Sugar with Cardamom*
  • 2 ounces gin*
  • 1 ounce Orange Shrub with Cardamom and Thyme*
  • Club soda to top or to taste I used Fever-Tree Club Soda

  • Place a handful or two of ice in a highball glass.
  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves, rosemary sprig, lemon slice, and sugar together until the mint is very aromatic and slightly bruised looking and the sugar is mostly dissolved.
  • Add the gin and shrub and top with ice.
  • Shake well, until the shaker is very cold and is sweating.
  • Strain into the prepared glass, top with club soda and garnish. You can garnish with a lemon wedge or slice, mint leaves, rosemary, and edible flowers if desired.

Neat Version: Double strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass and garnish
This Gin Lemonade Cocktail will taste different depending on what gin you use. Each distillery adds different botanicals, so the same cocktail made with another gin will result in its own distinctive version.
