Weird Cheesecake Cookies

Is it a sugar cookie? Is it a butter cookie? Who cares! These Weird Cheesecake Cookies may confuse, but they taste amazing and are very simple to make. And they actually taste like cheesecake!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter room temperature
  • 3 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line baking sheets with parchment paper. 

  2. Cream butter and cream cheese together.
  3. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
  4. Add flour and beat well.

  5. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on the parchment lined baking sheet.

  6. Dip bottom of a glass in water and gently press each cookie until 2 inches in diameter.
  7. Bake for 12 to 13 minutes. Cool for 2 or 3 minutes on the cookie sheet before removing to a cooling rack.

Recipe Notes

Add more flour if the dough is too sticky to roll into balls.
